Minister Albayrak has announced early payments! In a message shared on his Twitter account, the Minister delivered positive news for farmers. He said that, ahead of the holiday, they are supporting producers by making 575,000 decares of Treasury land available to 20,000 farmers across 600 villages at half price. In line with this decision, he confirmed that the advance payment of 122,593,000 TL, scheduled for August, was deposited into the accounts of sugar beet farmers today. Minister Albayrak extended his best wishes to the recipients.
In his statement, Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak also noted that, according to an infographic from Türkşeker, 355,787,000 TL corresponds to pulp payments and sugar beet advances. Additionally, 158,431,000 TL will be paid to farmers for grain, sunflower products and their advances. In total, support payments to farmers amount to 514,218,000 TL.
