Minister Fahrettin Koca also identified the provinces reporting the highest number of cases. He noted that Burdur and Gümüşhane have reported no new cases for two consecutive days. The five provinces with the most cases were listed as Istanbul, Ankara, Gaziantep, Konya and Bursa. The minister warned that images showing behaviors that threaten public health have emerged, highlighting media footage where social distancing among passengers inside vehicles has effectively disappeared. He also named several provinces that he described as struggling to contain the spread, listing Tekirdağ, Balıkesir, Samsun, Kırşehir and Düzce as examples of cities facing difficulties.
