What Are the Eligibility Requirements for Birth Allowance?

- Having taken maternity leave,
- Providing documentation that maternity leave was used (a medical report),

- From the list, choose “Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services – Social Assistance Information Inquiry”.
- On the new page, enter the Turkish ID number in the designated field and click “inquire”.
This inquiry will display whether the birth allowance has been approved, the amount, and the scheduled payment date.
If you need an E-Devlet password, it can be obtained from PTT branches at the counter by presenting your Turkish ID card and paying a small fee.
