The General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises (TİGEM) has announced it will hire 145 contracted personnel to serve within the organization. Qualified candidates may apply until the application deadline.
TİGEM Personnel Recruitment Requirements
Candidates must meet the specified requirements to apply. Applications open on December 21 and will continue until December 31, 2020.
The required qualifications are as follows:
- Be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey,
- Not be deprived of public rights,
- Not have been convicted of crimes listed in Article 53 of the Turkish Penal Code—such as offenses against the constitutional order and its functioning, embezzlement, bribery, theft, fraud, forgery, breach of trust, fraudulent bankruptcy, bid rigging, obstruction of performance, laundering of proceeds from crime, or smuggling—even if pardoned,
- Have no health condition preventing performance of the duties,
- Not have been dismissed from public institutions for disciplinary or ethical reasons,
- Not have resigned from public institutions within the last year,
- For male candidates, have no unresolved military service obligations as of the application date (i.e., discharged, deferred, or exempt),
- Be a graduate of the faculties, vocational schools, or vocational high schools specified for the positions, or hold a degree from a domestic or foreign institution whose equivalence is approved by the Higher Education Council,
- Have scored at least 70 in the relevant KPSS score type as of the application deadline: P3 for bachelor’s degree graduates, P93 for associate degree graduates, P94 for secondary education graduates in the 2020 Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS),
- Be at least 18 years old as of the application date,
- The positions to be filled include: agricultural machinery, agricultural structures and irrigation, field crops, plant protection, horticulture, zootechnics, veterinary medicine, agricultural technician, agricultural technician specialist, radiology technician, electrical technician, electrical technician specialist, construction technician, and veterinary health technician.
Candidates who meet the requirements must submit their applications by December 31, 2020.
How to Apply for TİGEM Personnel Recruitment
Applicants must submit their applications in person or by mail to the General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises, Human Resources and Training Department between December 21 and December 31, 2020. The institution is not responsible for any delays caused by the postal service; candidates should account for possible mailing delays.
Documents required to apply for the relevant positions:
- Notarized copy of the diploma or graduation certificate showing the completed program; for graduates of foreign institutions, a copy of the diploma equivalence document,
- KPSS result document showing the barcode and score,
- One passport-size photograph taken within the last six months,
- Copy of the national identity card,
- Medical document indicating no health issues that would prevent the candidate from performing the duties,
- An information form including the candidate’s contact details and email address.
Candidates will be ranked according to their KPSS scores and will be invited to a written exam on a date to be announced. Exam content will vary by specialty and may include topics such as: TİGEM’s main statutes, history of reforms, general crop production activities, general animal production activities, agriculture and environmental relations, soil tillage practices for dry and irrigated conditions, sowing and maintenance practices for cereal cultivation, seed production for forage crops, fundamental irrigation concepts, irrigation systems, soil tillage implements, seeding machinery, fertilization, pest control, pasture and meadow management, livestock machinery, animal husbandry, animal nutrition, bacterial diseases, obstetrics and gynecology, nutrition-related diseases, foot diseases, pharmacology, small and large ruminant husbandry, infectious diseases, artificial insemination, and electrical circuit systems. Candidates who pass the exam will be appointed to their positions.
