The Ministry of Health Has Prepared New Guideline Rules for 11 Sectors in the Normalization Process! The Ministry of Health has prepared a new guideline for 11 sectors to be followed during the normalization process. The guidance, developed as part of controlled normalization efforts within the scope of coronavirus measures, has been compiled under a single title. In the section titled “Precautions to Be Taken in Cosmetic and Perfumery Stores,” the guide notes that testing cosmetic products in-store increases the risk of coronavirus transmission. Accordingly, test products available in stores will not be used.
Following recommendations from the Ministry of Health Coronavirus Science Board, necessary measures for the controlled normalization process have been determined for 11 sectors. The sectors requiring precautions are listed below.
- White goods and furniture stores,
- Cosmetic and perfumery stores,
- Fuel stations,
- Markets and supermarkets,
- Car washes and auto repair shops,
- Repair shops and tire services,

- All units operating in office and administrative systems,
- Real estate agents and property consultancy offices,

Cosmetic Products Will Not Be Tested Due to Coronavirus
Because of the coronavirus, cosmetic products will not be available for in-store testing. In white goods and furniture stores, information posters about coronavirus precautions will be displayed in visible areas. Hand sanitizers will be available at store entrances. Entry will be regulated so that there is one person per four square meters, counting both staff and customers. Customers will be asked to enter the store alone when possible, and companions will be requested to wait outside. Work schedules will be arranged to keep staff numbers to a minimum while maintaining operations.
In stores that sell cosmetics, the guide highlights that testing products before purchase poses a high risk of virus transmission. To prevent crowding, a notice will be placed at the entrance discouraging gatherings inside. Social distancing rules will be enforced, and products will be displayed in glass cases. When a customer requests an item, a staff member will bring it to the register. Test items such as eyeliners, mascaras, lipsticks, blushes, and other cosmetics applied to the eyes, lips, or face will not be available for sampling. For items like perfumes, lotions, and nail varnishes, store personnel will assist customers with testing procedures in a safe, controlled manner.
