Cash Support Payments Scheduled for July 8–10

Breaking news: Cash support payments will be made between July 8 and 10. Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Services, announced important details about the cash wage support implemented in response to the coronavirus pandemic. In her latest statement, Minister Selçuk confirmed that cash support payments for June will be disbursed between July 8 and July 10, 2020.

According to the announcement, payments for June 2020 will begin on Wednesday, July 8, 2020.

Dates for June Cash Wage Payments Have Been Set

The Minister of Family, Labour and Social Services, Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, has announced the schedule for June cash support payments. To prevent crowds at payment locations, the disbursements will be spread over three days: July 8–10.

Workers whose employment contracts were terminated on or after March 15, 2020, but who do not qualify for unemployment benefits will receive their payments on July 8. Employees placed on unpaid leave by their employers, and who are not receiving short-time work allowance, will receive payments according to the last digit of their Turkish ID numbers: those whose ID ends in 0, 2 or 4 will be paid on July 9; those whose ID ends in 6 or 8 will be paid on July 10.
