When do 2020 KYK Loan and Scholarship Applications Begin? Thousands of students preparing to start university are eager to know when the scholarships and loans provided by the Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK) will be open for applications. The Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) was held recently, and ÖSYM announced it will publish the exam results on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.
Meanwhile, students are closely awaiting the start date for KYK scholarship and loan applications and wondering who will be eligible to receive payments. The non-repayable scholarships and repayable student loans provided by the Credit and Dormitories Institution are important for helping university students cover living expenses. Students who took the YKS and are placed at a university will be able to submit KYK scholarship and loan applications.
When Will 2020 KYK Scholarship Applications Open?
The Credit and Dormitories Institution has not yet issued an official statement about the application period for loans and scholarships for this year. Last year, KYK scholarship and loan applications opened on October 16, 2019 and closed on October 21, 2019. For 2020, applications are expected to open around similar dates. As in previous years, applications are likely to be submitted through the e-Government (e-Devlet) portal. Last year, monthly KYK scholarship and loan payments for undergraduate and associate degree students were 550 TL. It is not yet clear whether KYK scholarship and loan payments will be increased for the new academic term.
